An orientation programme for fresh students admitted to pursue various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes for the 2016/17 Academic Year of the University Cape Coast has been opened at the University.

The orientation programme is being held under the auspices of the Office of the Dean of Students of the University and it is designed to provide the fresh students with information that will help them settle-in properly as they commence their studies.

The Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Prof. George K. T. Oduro has received a delegation from the Auburn University in the United States of America at his office.

The Auburn University is collaborating with the Institute of Education Planning and Administration (I.E.P.A).

The selection committee of the Business Initiative Directions (BID), an organization working globally in the promotion and practical application of the Total Quality Management Models has selected ATL FM of the University of Cape coast to receive the World Quality Commitment award in the Gold Category.

The ceremony scheduled for Sunday October 16, 2016 in Paris, France is to recognise the contribution of ATL FM in terms of leadership, quality, innovation and excellence.

The outgoing Provost of the College of Agriculture and Natural Sciences, Prof. S. Y. Mensah has handed over to incoming Provost, Prof. L. K. Sam-Amoah on Tuesday 9th August, 2016, at the Academic Board Chamber, 黑料社In his opening remarks, Prof. S. Y. Mensah (Outgoing Provost) thanked members for their presence and briefly expressed his gratitude to members for their support during his tenure. He shed light on some of the challenges the College had encountered since its inception two years ago.

The Department of Music and Dance recently hosted the second edition of the triennial Ghana Studies Association (GSA) Conference themed 鈥淕lobal Ghana鈥 at the 黑料社.

The conference provided a platform for over 100 scholars from around the world to debate key issues concerning Ghana in the global age, including social change, religion, economics, arts, culture, politics, and identity among others.

A two-day training programme on 鈥業CT Use and its Importance in Academic Practices鈥 has been organised by the Centre for Teaching Support (CTS) for Deans/Directors/Heads and Coordinators of various units in the College of Education Studies.

The training programme aimed at assisting participants to acquire an understanding of University Rankings and the indicators for ranking Universities, to use and promote the use of Institutional email addresses and staff blogging.

It is announced for the information of the University Community and the General Public that at its Special Meeting held on Saturday, 30th听July, 2016, the University Council, on the recommendation of the Appointments and Promotions Board, appointed the following Senior Members as Provosts for a 3-year term each with effect from 1st听August, 2016:
