A professor of Labour and Human Resource Studies at the ºÚÁÏÉç (UCC) Prof. Akua Britwum , has launched a book that chronicles the seventy-five-year existence of the Trade Union Congress (TUC) Ghana in Accra.Ìý

The Directorate Of University Health Services (DUHS) has honoured its hard-working staff at its annual end of year Staff Awards and Recognition ceremony.

The Deputy Director of DUHS Dr. James K. Prah, was adjudged the Best Clinician.

He receivedÌý a citation and a shield.

Other workers who were also outstanding in their services were awarded with certificates and citations.

A team fromÌýthe ºÚÁÏÉç, UCC, led by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Johnson Nyarko Boampong, has opened UCC's exhibition at the 18th Regional Universities Forum for Capacity Building in Agriculture (RUFORUM) Annual General Meeting in Harare, Zimbabwe.

The exhibition, which started on December 12, 2022, enabled patrons to catch a glimpse of a range of ºÚÁÏÉçphotos on display showcasing activities of the University from the past to the present.Ìý

The Vice-Chancellor of the ºÚÁÏÉç, Prof. Johnson Nyarko Boampong, has paid a working visit to the Republic of India under the Academician Visitor Programme of India Council for Cultural Relations.

Whilst in India, Prof. Boampong visited the Banaras Hindu University, where he was received by the Vice Chancellor Professor Jain.

The two Vice-Chancellors discussed areas of collaboration, including History, Music and Dance, as well as Medicine.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof Johnson Nyarko Boampong, has cut sod for the construction of two ultra-modern bus terminals on the University’s campus.Ìý

The first bus terminal will be constructed at the frontage of the East Gate, close to the GCB Bank, whilst the second terminal will be positioned at the frontage of the SRC Hostel.Ìý

The bus terminals would enable students to conveniently wait for busses to their destinations, as well as to their lecture halls.Ìý

Twenty-four (24)ÌýSecurity and Fire Safety Recruits of the ºÚÁÏÉç have passed out after six (6) weeks of rigorous training.

The recruits, made up of eight (8) Fire Safety Officers and sixteen (16) Security Officers, went throughÌýphysical fitness and drilling.Ìý

The passing out parade was formed byÌýcontingents under the command of Kingsley Odoom, an Assistant Security Officer.Ìý
