1.0听听听 Lecturer
The candidate must:
路听听听听听听听听 Possess a PhD with specialization in one or more of the fields of study listed above or a closely related academic area and must have served as Assistant Lecturer for at least two (2) years in a recognized Institution.
路听听听听听听听听 Have a strong research background and professional experience.
路听听听听听听听听 Have some substantial teaching and corporate experience.
路听听听听听听听听 Maximum age is 50 years.
路听听听听听听听听 Have demonstrated potential and interest to conduct research and to excel in teaching; and Demonstrate experience in supervising students research work at the undergraduate level.
路听听听听听听听听 Have a commitment to excellent teaching at the graduate and undergraduate levels.

2.0听 Senior Lecturer
The candidate must:
路听听听听听听听听 Possess a PhD qualification from a reputable University in the relevant field of specialization
路听听听听听听听听 Must have substantial teaching and corporate experience.
路听听听听听听听听 Must demonstrate some experience in publishing in international journals or exhibit potential for conducting research.
路听听听听听听听听 Must have a strong background and professional experience.
路听听听听听听听听 Demonstrate experience in supervising students research work at the post graduate and undergraduate level.
路听听听听听听听听 Have served for a minimum of four (4) years as a Lecturer in a University or analogous institution.
路听听听听听听听听 Maximum age is 50 years.
路听听听听听听听听 Have a minimum of five (5) refereed publications in his/her area of specialization for the rank of Senior Lecturer.

3.0听听 Associate Professor
The candidate must:
路听听听听听听听听 Satisfy the academic qualifications specified for Senior Lecturer
路听听听听听听听听 Have at least seven (7) refereed publications in his/her area of specialization since his/her last appointment as Senior Lecturer.听 听 听 听 听 听 听
路听听听听听听听听 Have taught for a minimum of four (4) years in a university or analogous institution as a Senior Lecturer.
路听听听听听听听听 Demonstrate experience in supervising students research work at the Postgraduate and undergraduate level.
路听听听听听听听听 He must be able to produce any other evidence of research/professional activity.
路听听听听听听听听 Have a strong research background and professional experience
路听听听听听听听听 Maximum age is 55 years

4.0听 Professor
The candidate must:
路听听听听听听听听 Satisfy the academic qualification specific for the rank of Associate Professor.
路听听听听听听听听 Possess a PhD qualification in the relevant field of specialization
路听听听听听听听听 He must be able to produce any other evidence of research/professional
路听听听听听听听听 Have taught for a minimum of two (2) years as Associate Professor or have considerable number of years of teaching/research experience in a university or analogous institution.
路听听听听听听听听 Have at least eight (8) refereed publications in his/her area of specialization since his/her last appointment as an Associate Professor or must have a total of twenty (20) refereed publications since appointment as Senior Lecturer. In all cases, the publications should be passed by external assessors.
The appointment of professorial rank shall be by tenure.
