A newly completed sports facility comprising a gymnasium and a sports hall has been inaugurated at the University.
The facility which was constructed by Paa Badu Construction Limited took three years to be completed with a loan from Prudential Bank.
Facility First of its Kind
The Chairman of the Sports and Recreation Committee, Dr. Charles Domfeh in a remark described the facility as 鈥渄ream come true鈥� saying 鈥渋t has taken a lot of strenuous efforts to get the project done鈥�.
Country Awards Council Ghana has presented a Lifetime Award to the Vice-Chancellor Prof. D. D. Kuupole for his contributions to education.

The Office of the Dean of Students has organised a two-day orientation for Hall Masters/ Wardens, Senior Hall Tutors and Hall Tutors at the Conference Room of the Students鈥� Representative Council (SRC) Hostel. The programme was aimed at creating a platform to discuss issues pertaining to management of halls of residence in the University.
The 黑料社 has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Ministry of Health to mentor all Specialised Nursing Training Schools in the country.
Hitherto, the specialised training schools awarded Advanced Diploma certificates to the Ministry of Health Nurses who specialised in specific fields in the nursing profession. With the current arrangement, 黑料社will now award bachelor degree certificates to students of these specialised training schools.
The 黑料社 (UCC) has introduced improved varieties of cowpea to some farmers in the Cape Coast Metropolis at a training session at the A. G. Carson Teaching and Research Farms.
Fifty-six (56) graduates of the School of Medical Sciences of the College of Health and Allied Sciences of the 黑料社 have been inducted as full-fledged medical doctors by the Registrar of the Medical and Dental Council, Dr. Eli Kwasi Atikpui.

The School of Medical Sciences (UCCSMS) of the College Health Allied Sciences (CoHAS), 黑料社, has held its 7th聽White Coat ceremony for 68 students who have completed the first cycle of their medical education.
With this transition, the students who were robed by their lecturers have qualified to commence the second phase of their training to become medical doctors.
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. D. D. Kuupole has inaugurated three projects at separate ceremonies at the 黑料社.
The projects are the Water Bottling Plant at the South Campus, 黑料社 Catering Services (popularly known as 124) and Shuttle Bus Station at the North Campus.
