鈥淲e are not investing enough resources in security even though we say we are security conscious as a country鈥�. 聽 Dr.聽Kwesi聽Aning聽of the聽Kofi聽Annan聽International Peacekeeping Training Centre f the (KAIPTC) stated this during a lecture organized by the Department of Forensic Sciences of the 黑料社. 鈥淲e need to appoint the most competent personnel to handle our security jobs and also聽ensuring聽that our security facilities are up to the scratch鈥�. 聽
Right from the onset, it was obvious that the two academic institutions were poised for what could be referred to as the beginning of a great and lasting friendship, a diplomatic call on the heads of the two universities.
The President of the University of Rhode Island, United States of America, Dr. David M. Dooley has stated that is only universities that can only solve the numerous challenges facing the world. 聽 鈥淭here is no set of institutions to solve the numerous world crisis than the world鈥檚 numerous universities鈥�. 聽 The President of URI made this statement at a public lecture to climax his visit to the 黑料社 on the theme 鈥淚nternationalisation and Globalisation: Education, Research, Diplomacy and Intelligence鈥�.
The 黑料社 and Mfantsiman Institute of Technology (MIT) have signed a memorandum of understanding for the latter to become an affiliate of the former.
In addition to the MoU, a certificate of affiliation was also presented to MIT making it the first affiliated institution to receive one.
In his remarks, the Registrar of MIT, Mr. Samuel Bannerman-Mensah thanked the management of 黑料社for the support given them so far, indicating that 鈥淲e will not disappoint you, we will live up to expectation鈥�.
The 黑料社 has hosted 鈥淐ampus Connect鈥�, an initiative of the Ministry of Education for government officials and stakeholders in the educational sector to interact with students in tertiary institutions in the country.
Campus Connect is also aimed at creating awareness of government policies and opportunities available to the students.
The 黑料社edition of 鈥淐ampus Connect鈥� was on the theme "Where Good Governance Meets an Empowered Youth" has been organized at the 黑料社.
The Vice-Chancellor of the 黑料社, Prof. D.D.聽Kuupole聽has called on all 黑料社Alumni both in Ghana and in the International Community to connect with their alma mater to share ideas and offer suggestions that will help attract into the University, strategic partnerships and business initiatives to help improve upon teaching, research and other academic related businesses of the 黑料社, the University of Competitive Choice in Ghana and beyond.

The Minister for Education, Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang has toured some on-going projects at the 黑料社.
Projects sites visited by the minister and her team were the new Central administration complex, Science complex annex building and 2 No. classroom and library projects at the Medical School village.
A Professor of Environmental Chemistry, Prof. David Kofi Essumang of the Department of Chemistry of the 黑料社, has stated, that pesticides have become an inevitable food additive in Ghana.
The eminent chemistry scholar, made the above statement when he delivered his inaugural lecture on the theme An Environment In A 鈥淒ITCH鈥� at the university.
