Applicant(s) for the programme must have one of the following:
I.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 a. M.Phil in one of the above areas of specialisation. 聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 b. MA in any of the above areas of specialisation.聽 Such a candidate may be required to read top-up courses at the M.Phil level, where necessary.聽 聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 c. A minimum of CGPA of 3.6 (i.e. First Class) in the first degree. Such a student must pass the M.Phil course work with a minimum CGPA of 3.0.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 a. All prospective students for the PhD programme must pass an interview.
