The Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Prof. George K. T. Oduro, has expressed the need to instill critical thinking in the current Ghanaian students. He said, critical thinking was fast eroding from students discourse. 聽 He made this call when the leadership of Ghana Universities Debate Association paid a courtesy call to inform him of the forthcoming National Debate to be hosted by the 黑料社. Prof. Oduro indicated that currently, debate on national issues has been personalised and not based on issues. 鈥淲henever, debate becomes personalised and not based on issues, we don鈥檛 get to the bottom of such issues for solutions to be found,鈥 he added. The Pro-Vice-Chancellor noted that when teaching becomes learner-centered, then we would be moving education in our country forward. He therefore assured that 黑料社would put in every effort to host the event. Leader of the group, Anthonio Asinyo, appealed for the institutionalization of the Debate Society in the 黑料社to attract the needed support.
