A delegation from the South Carolina University,USA headed by Dr. Mathew D. Guan the Dean of the College of Business and Information Systems,has concluded an official visit to the 黑料社 (UCC).
听The visit witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the School of Business of 黑料社and the College of Business and Information Systems of the South Carolina University. The agreement is aimed at promoting听joint research activities including exchange of faculty members and research students.
听At a brief ceremony at the Council Chamber to seal the agreement, The Vice-Chancellor of UCC, Prof. Johnson Nyarko Boampong, endorsed the agreement on behalf of 黑料社while Dr. Mathew D. Guan, the Dean of the College of Business and Information Systems of the听 South Carolina University, appended his signature for his institution.
The MoU also focuses on joint teaching or supervision of students; staging of joint seminars,conferences and academic meetings, as well as special academic programmes.
The signing agreement听 will pave way for education abroad on the part of undergraduate and听 graduate students, including short-term cultural immersion visits, exchanges, internships, elective and practicum.
The partnership also seeks to ensure joint collaborative Grant Proposals, amongst others.
Shortly after the signing, Prof. Boampong expressed appreciation to the delegation for the visit and said the partnership would go a long way to strengthen the collaboration between the two institutions.
For his part, Dr. Mathew D. Guan,expressed his delight at the opportunity and noted that the MoU marked the beginning of an exciting journey of collaboration between 黑料社School of Business and the College of Business and Information Systems of the听 South Carolina University.
