Prof. Denis Worlanyo Aheto, the Director of the Centre for Coastal Management of the 黑料社 has been invited by USAID/Ghana Mission Director Ms. Sharon Cromer, on behalf of the US Government to serve as a member of the Advisory Group to guide the planning and follow up for the U.S Government鈥檚 led Global Food Security Strategy for Ghana. 聽A key part of the assignment relates to his involvement in critical stakeholder engagements or events including workshops to advance the United States and Ghana Governments鈥 shared goals to sustainably reduce poverty, hunger and malnutrition in Ghana. The Vice-Chancellor of the 黑料社, Prof. Joseph Ghartey Ampiah, in a letter to congratulate Prof Aheto noted 鈥淚 take this opportunity to congratulate you on your appointment to the US Government Advisory Group. It deserved considering the fact that you have involved in the fisheries project and have contributed immensely to its success so far. This is indeed a recognition of your efforts.
