Prof. Essumang Inducted into Ghana Academy of Arts and Sciences听

The immediate Past Dean of the School of Physical Sciences, Prof. David Kofi Essumang, has been inducted as a fellow of the Ghana Academy of Arts and Sciences, (GAAS) at a ceremony in Accra.

Prof. Essumang, an alumnus of UCC, who is currently the Vice-Chancellor of the Koforidua Technical University, was inducted with seven others as part of this year鈥檚 Founders鈥� week celebrations of the Academy. 听The theme for the celebrations was 鈥淏eyond 60 years of scholarly excellence-new frontiers and prospects鈥�.
The induction ceremony was performed by the President of the Academy, Prof. Henrietta J. A. N. Mensah Bonsu.
